The full Hungarian squad closed the first day of testing with success, yet some problems are need to be solved for the rest of the week.
Imre Toth Jr. #10 finished in P25 with a 1m 36.873 lap on the combined timesheet.
Imre's words:
”The first and main thing is; We are very happy to be here. The morning session was trouble filled with technical difficulties. During the two hour afternoon training we finally started to shake the bike down. Tomorrow is an other day, but I'm very confident to make progress with different and faster setups. It's going to be very tough, because these two days are our first on track time this year.”
Gabor Rizmayer #75 finished in P23 with a 1m 36.500 lap time.
Gabor's quote:
We got the bikes very late, they arrived literally in pieces to the track. The team did an incredible job with putting them together. I'm very positive with the progress we made, without any problems. The on track time was good too, I rode a lot more laps than we expected. Not everything works perfectly right now, but I hope tomorrow is going to be a better day with setting up the bikes for a better pace.
